Vaping products duty: how the rate has changed

Drink, tobacco, gambling and vaping. Vaping products duty is a flat charge on every 10ml of vaping liquid, whatever its nicotine strength. It is paid by manufacturers and importers. Whether the cost is passed on to shoppers is up to the seller. It was first announced by Jeremy Hunt at the Spring Budget 2024, at £2 per 10ml, and the rate was set at £2.20 by Rachel Reeves at the Autumn Budget 2024.
